Let's start preparing for the 2025 season!

This time the place of the training camp was chosen in Inčukalns. A new created map that includes both the urban environment and the forest. Stadium with good coverage and swimming pool. A great environment for a training camp!

Arriving at the camp, we spent the first training in the stadium, cultivating the step of the race, but in the afternoon we already went to the forest to cultivate the skills of keeping the direction so important for the orienteerists. The theme of the direction in this training camp was set as the main one.

Each workout was filmed in order to analyze what was done in the training in the evening theory.

One of the most emotional trainings turned out to be a sprint relay race in an urban environment.

The traditional camp hike along the picturesque bank of the Loja River was also not missed.

At the end of the training camp, we used the steep bank of the Gauja Senleja near Ramkalni to learn the steps of running on different slopes, both the most gentle and the steepest.

The excellent autumn weather contributed to the fulfillment of the tasks planned in the camp in full. We continue to train!

The next camp during the winter holidays is planned in Smecersils, near Madonna.
